New Auditor General
The Swedish Parliament has appointed Gudrun Antemar as a new Auditor General for the Swedish National Audit Office for a term of 7 years, effective July 1, 2010. The Swedish SAI is headed by three Auditors General. Ms. Anemar joins Claes Norgren and Jan Landahl, who continue in their respective positions as Auditors General.
Gudrun Antemar
Ms. Antemar has a master's degree in law from Stockholm University and previously served 6 years as Director General at the Swedish Economic Crime Authority. She also served for 4 years as Director and Chief Legal Officer at the Office of the Prosecutor-General and as a judge at the Stockholm District Court. Before that, she served 7 years as a Deputy Director and Legal Adviser at the Ministry of Justice. In addition Ms. Antemar has been a trade union representative.
