Annual Report on the Environment and Sustainable Development
The 2006 Report of the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development was tabled in Parliament on September 28. The report deals with climate change, the reduction of greenhouse gases emitted during energy production and consumption, environmental petitions and the progress made by 21 departments and agencies toward meeting the commitments in their sustainable development strategies.
